Cobble Stones, Sandy Flats ,The Persimmon Tree, Grove Cemetery, The Grove House, Joe Martin & his cars, The Vucksons, The Scritchfields, Joe Cromish, The Oak Tree on the Fourth of July, Ship Rock, Copperheads, The Shinnston Tornado, The Sowers, The Spring, The Coal Mine, The Outhouse (A two-holer), Phil Mangino drinking buttermilk, My Dad shooting rabbits before dawn, One Fireplace, An old junk car frame, A big garden, An oilcloth skeleton, Carbide lanterns, The new radio that went to the Scritchfields, Hurley's Rock, The back way to Fairmont, The door over the stairs to keep out the cold, Mom's wood burning cook stove, Hide-and- Seek, Oh how clear the stars were, The Radio Station Transmitter, and The Three Towers. These are but a few of those wonderful memories. There is a story connected to each item. Perhaps I'll have time to tell you a little about them soon.
