Delores Meredith Holt

Delores Meredith Holt died Friday (July 8, 2005) at Chicago Land Christian Village Nursing Home in Crown Point, Ind.

She was born Sept. 3, 1929, in Monongah to her late parents, Charles and Pauline (Jane) Meredith.

Delores was a member of Lake Hill Baptist Church in Shererville, Ind. She was a graduate of Monongah High School in 1947.

She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Tom and Mary Holt of Wyoming, Mich.; two daughters and sons-in-law, Billie Jo and Bruce Young of Dyer, Ind., and Joanne and Dr. Mark Van Swol of Greenwood, S.C.; a son-in-law, Bob Jackson; 12 grandchildren; one sister and brother-in-law, Patty and Don Wills and of Fairmont; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Jack and Nelda Meredith of Elizabeth City, N.C., Joe and Jean Meredith of Daytona Beach Shores, Fla., and Bill and Roleta Meredith of Sarasota, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Delores was preceded in death by her husband, William Holt; a daughter, Marsha Jackson; and two sisters, Bonnie Meredith and Jean Meredith Riddle.

Services will be held Thursday, July 14, 2005, in Crown Point, Ind.
